I thoroughly enjoyed "Mank". Any Gary Oldman film is always worth checking out, and as usual, Mr. Oldman is magnificent. The filming style in black and white was beautifully effective (although I don't know if it will be as effective for people who didn't grow up watching old movies in black and white. Speaking for myself, the 1930's and 1940's are black and white in my mind's eye). As someone who's interested in history and loves old movies, I thoroughly enjoyed this film, and getting some potential perspective as to how the story for Citizen Kane evolved. I hope others will enjoy this movie as much as I did.
