You don't have to like or understand the Metal Gears to play and enjoy this game. it is a true work of art with near perfect social commentary on the world today not just in America, but across most nations. In my opinion the greatest Hideo Kojima game ever. some may not like the slower pace of the game but I find it increases the tension of the intense bits, making them even more enjoyable. IGN was just wrong about this game
