Mulan 2020 is a live action cash grabbing movie. It does not offer anything new or nuance unlike the original cartoon movie. Yes, it may be entertaining to new audiences but I guarantee you that the original film will offer more in terms of accepting one's identity, coming of age, and overcoming societal and physical obstacles. Personal gripes: Some pretentious lazy writers decided to take out important details from the original movie and added features that panders towards an audience who blindly follows a specific trend instead. Also, THEY TOOK OUT MUSHU???? Yo hollywood, y'all suck.
