A step towards indian sci-fi genre and a decent one.....but i would say it is more about fiction than science, blended nicely with indian mythology.It is a little slow but the plot is quite fresh, didn't go over the board.....thanks to vikarant massey and sweta tripathi's effortless performances for that.Yes, you will not get to see a scientifically advanced story but we will definitely get to witness some nice, raw & intense human stories.Overall, i liked it....an upvote for sure, could have been better, ofcourse but again we need to support this venture to see some groundbreaking indian films in this genre 👍🏼

C u soon Watched this malayalam film, loved it.The whole movie is filmed in this lockdown period, that too on an iphone, as far as i have heard.It's brilliant, how they created a gripping thriller like this, sitting in a room & without being on an actual set.The editing is so so good & so r the performances.....fahadh faasil is undoubtedly one of finest actor of our country today....his film choices r always so interesting. There r some flaws here and there, the things get carried away in some scenes but overall i liked the concept....it's similar to 'searching' but new for india and has been executed well. Watch this.....for a new experience, u will not regret !!

Without a doubt, the best movie ever made....an absolute cult !! U will forget Brando after watching KRK's performance.....next to brilliant !!

Chaman Bahar : Finally an Indian netflix original, which is worth ur watch.....it is fresh & beautiful with some flaws here and there !! Was just waiting for my exam to end to jump on to this......Jitendra kumar, kya magic krte hain yaar aap har baar....jitu bhaiya yet again pulled off a simple yet relatable character with utmost brilliance and honesty.....ek simple character me bhi itna layering aur complexity dikha dete hain 🙇....jitu-pure gem ❤ The best part about the movie is.....it makes u feel for the main character (jitu) throughout the movie without romanticising the bad deeds done by him (full credit to the director/director)....movie has some beautiful shots,an overwhelming & relaxed BGM and an innocence attached to it !! PS : A paan vendor playing a lead role in a romantic-comedy is everything that is missing in mainstream bollywood !!

The story of 'the lighthouse' revolves around two lighthouse keepers (Robert Pattinson & Willem Dafoe), working at a haunting and claustrophobic place.The leads share a very unique relationship in between them....they argued, the laughed, they danced/sung, they almost kissed each other and they fought !! The movie is shot in black & white and in an aspect ratio of 1:19:1(which is unusual).....it is horrifying, disturbing, funny at places too and has some unforgettable visuals. The cinematography and sound effects of the movie are wonderful(no wonder why it won an oscar for that) and so r the acting performances of both the actors, their old british accent was tough for me to understand at times though !! Both the character suffered with identity crisis and madness.....the ending was based on some Greek mythology, which i didn't understand as much.....at last i would say Robert Eggers is a clear winner here, the detail to every scene is something to be appreciated.....BRILLIANT DIRECTION AND SCREENPLAY !!

Party (1984) I have seen ppl referring this movie as a film trying to promote marxist/leftist ideologies but i can assure u, it's very much beyond that.....infact it shows the dual nature of Vrinda(who happens to be a marxist in the film) in several scenes. The movie was an statement against the then gov of india.It talks about art or the influence of politics in art in general, it talks about activism, the rights of the adivasis, the power of money and politics, insecurity of humans in their relationships and friendships.The movie flows from the beginning to the end like water in a sea with some beautiful dialogues, discussions and poetry in between. IT'S FLUENT & CLEAR IN IT'S THOUGHTS....PURE CLASS !! I would be highly surprised if a movie like this would get released today and get away easily, without getting heavy backlash !!

It is one of my favourite animated movies. The story is about a young girl and an old man, living in two different countries and exchanging letters with each other. Their unique friendship is the soul of the film.The movie talks about mental illness, feeling of being left out & being bullied, insecurities and loneliness !! Some scenes r heart breaking, some r insightful and some r noncontextual ones, which u just need to sit back & enjoy. The best thing about the movie is....it manges to deliver these hard hitting, disturbing and important messages in a very funny way.....it's comical throughout.The animation is very fresh too, u will fell in love with it, right from the first shot !! "THE STRANGERS COULD BE VERY VITAL SOMETIMES"

If crime thrillers r ur thing then Raat Akeli Hai is for U !! One of the better films to come out in 2020, this film has a dream star cast with the likes of Nawaz, Tigmanshu, Sweta tripathi, Radhika apte, Aditya shrivastav & Shivani raghuvanshi !! Nawaz was slaying as usual....his dialogue delivery is way too good in this movie, radhika, shivani and most of them were on top of their game....but Tigmanshu was the stand out performer, a small cameo but really a remarkable one. It's thrilling, suspicious, entertaining and have some great visuals & colouring. I also liked the way, they tried and successfully melted some social issues like racial discrimination and patriarchy in between without going over the board. The movie is really well written but i found the character development to be a little weak and some scene to be a little over the place (underdirected). Also, if they would have investigated the case well, it could have been an open and shut case....they missed a trick....i would not give the spoiler, find out urself.Aur last me mere city ka naam bhi ke liye....dil khush sa ho gaya ❤😅

I was watching this movie for the 3rd time, a couple of days ago & it still had the same impact on me, what it had on the first watch !! Pulp fiction to me is not just a movie, it is a genre in itself...a result of Tarantino's wildest imaginations. It is a combination of 3 stories of the same world but with different protagonists, linked with each other in some way or the other.I was heavily confused about the plot of the movie after my first watch.....it slowly grew on me with time....it is one of those films, which will remain with me for years to come, aur jab impact kam hone lagega...i will watch it again !! The movie talks about the decisions that we make in our life and the unpredictability, fortunes & misfortunes of it. Violence is the heart of the movie & the way Tarantino blends it with his plot is a whole different chapter altogether.His violence is real, funny, unpredictable, sometimes horrifying and sometimes surprisingly exciting too(if there is something that i learn from movies, it's definitely not the violence...so chill) The background score, the songs, the camera work, the performances of the actors (especially samuel as jules, john as vincent, bruce as butch & uma as mia{fab of the lot}) are all very powerful & amazing.The direction of Quentin is simply unparalleled in this movie but the only thing that i don't like about this movie is his cameo(it looks a bit odd...idk why) My favourite parts of this masterpiece are....the dance scene, the car scene, the beginning & the ending scenes of the movie, comic reliefs, Jules quoting the bible and the sexual tension that builds between Mia & Vincent !!

NO SPOILERS I am quite late to the party but glad that i finally did land into it !! A period drama with almost all the important ingredients of entertainment......Tarantino has created another gem.It's a story of an actor struggling to get good roles in Hollywood, although he is a well known actor in the television industry......around him revolves the story of a stunt man & an actress.Just love how all three of them have different character line....and how well they have manged to make me invest myself in all of them separately.Caprio as usual was flawless....there is that one scene were he forgets his lines and ask for it to the DOP....that is just beautiful to watch including all his scenes with the little girl.But one person who just nailed everytime he got a screen time....was Brad Pit,,,,what a performance (absolutely oscar worthy).Nice plot and brilliant background score....the only thing ,which could have been better was the lenght of the movie....should have been 10-15 less than what it actually was,,,felt a bit lengthy.Talk about Quentin Tarantino movie....violence somehow finds it's way in....and he quite crafty blend the same into the plot.It had 10 oscar nominations this year and it also unsurprisingly managed to pack a few under it's belt !! A must watch for everyone, who haven't already watched it. #Once_upon_a_time_in_Hollywood
