I felt it was rather lacklustre. There was very little action and a lot of just random soldiers staring off into the distance silently. You couldn’t connect with the characters as they would die or you’d switch positions and never see them again. The portrayal of Dunkirk wasn’t great either. The attacks happened for about 10 seconds and that’d be it for 20 minutes or so. There were some rather good, captivating scenes but these were really rather rare. I do like the effort put into the scene making however and the graphics/CGI is also very good.
Overall I wouldn’t say it was an amazing film. But not terrible
Edit: Why did the kid die after falling down 2 sets of stairs? I fallen down at least 17 before and I had a bruised arm and concussion ( MINOR ) this kid basically taps the floor and dies. Such a waste and so unrealistic. Just boat hop, boat gets wrecked, new boat, rinse repeat. TERRIBLE
