Lot of scenery, lot of shoot outs and burn downs. No story line to hold the thing together

I like Tom Hanks but this movie was a disappointment. It’s long winded and gets very boring. Tom Hanks does not pull off the role of a crusty old guy either in my opinion. Wish I hadn’t bothered.

I found this movie to be so discombobulated, it was hard to watch. I love the book and was looking forward to seeing the movie.
It was disappointing and frustrating to sit through.
