This was my first Pakistani show or drama I saw. And yes the way my sisters and my Ammi all are mad for Pakistani dramas is justified. This drama contained all Love, Friendship, Standing for Justice full of emotions. I loved how it kind of revolved around military life mainly. Ahad Raza Mir, Alizeh Shah, zara Noor Abbas, Osman Khalid, Momina Iqbal, Ahmed Ali, Wahaj ali all did fabulous acting. And all credit to this drama, after which I've been fan of Pakistani dramas 🖤💙

Binged watched in a day, 🥰 I have been quietly following pakistan, its culture, languages from Pashto, punjabi, saraiki, it's mainstream news channels, songs- yaar lamy Da and so on. But trust me everything falls short in front of Mahira Khan's acting in Humsafar. Kirad (Mahira Khan) is a character who starts her day from taking care of her ill mother in the old town hyderabad, She's intelligent, self assured, sensible but an obeying daughter. Gradually she moves to her maternal uncle house from marrying Ashar (Fawad Khan) to being thrown out from in laws house when she's 3 weeks pregnant. Trust me you gonna need full packet of tissues cuz u will not be able hold on your tears. She will make you feel from her acting that how it's so tough to live without a father, then a mother, then a husband and at the end feeling helpless for her daughter's heart treatment due to her poverty stricken days. I can write a whole book on Mahira Khan for her act in this program. And plz don't even think of to compare it with our Indian Sci Fi serials where a Saas has this legendary power to reincarnate 10 times in just 1 soap and making you fool by completing 100000 episodes. Humsafar with 23 episodes is one of its own kind of sad romance which Pakistan have ever created. Loads love Mahira khan.

The story was so heart touching. How a husband reacts when his wife left her for another person for money, and Humayun Saeed's acting was brilliant. His wife acted like so evil even after she betrayed her husband. Though they did love marriage but that love didn't lasted forever. 🥺 Title track by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan too is 🖤 It's one of the best drama I've ever seen, Pakistani dramas are undoubtedly best.
