I just watched Fighter (2024) what a movie, you will laugh and cry. Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone are brilliant and so is the rest of the cast. The movie is gripping from beginning to end, not a single boring scene, the songs are excellent with fantastic picturization & boy can Hrithik Roshan Dance! The action sequence, aerial footage, VFX are fantastic, it's the first time I watched a Bollywood movie about fighter jet planes and it's on par with Hollywood, despite poor critical reviews this movie emerged a hit at the box office, watch it and you would know why! Not to be missed 👌

I give this movie 5 stars, I don't understand the language but watched a copy of the movie with subtitles, from all the mediocre Bollywood movies recently that I have watched this movie stands out & was a box office hit. Dhanush is so brilliant in his role & also Nithya Menen. The movie is so simple yet realistic, it has drama, comedy, a love story & beautifully picturised songs. Your one love can be right next to you but you only realise it later on in life, Nithya was such a good friend and so supportive, the relationship between the father & son was well portrayed, the families of the 2 main characters were not bickering or fighting but were friendly & accepting of each other, simple everyday activities like ironing,cooking etc was displayed. All the supporting characters were also very good, I must mention Dhanush's grandfather who was hilarious in the movie with his one liners, don't miss this simple but beautiful movie! A must watch for the whole family!

This is one of the worst movies I have seen! What a pathetic story, all the characters looks as if they are in desperate need of a shower! I cannot understand how a talented actor like Ranbir Kapoor can accept a role like this! No wonder the movie was a box office disaster, the only reason I give a 1 star rating is for the songs 'jee huzoor' & 'fitoor' the vfx is so poorly executed also. Sanjay Dutt is also good as the villian but becomes too much of him to watch in this lengthy movie!

A brilliant edge of your seat thriller, Alia Bhatt is brilliant in this movie so is Vicky Kaushal in a small but significant role, the supporting characters are all equally good as well, it's a well thought out storyline that shows some unknown people who sacrifice themselves to safeguard their country, Alia looks amazing in this movie and so is her acting, a movie not to be missed! The scenes are so realistically portrait that it connects with the audience, and thank God for no unecessary songs to halt the thrilling story.

What an entertaining movie! abhimanyu dassani does his best in this movie, it's a movie that's keeps you glued to the screen from beginning to end! The songs are very catchy especially the title track 'nikamma' which is a rage in South Africa at the moment, it's good to see Shilpa Shetty in an extended role rather than the brief role she had in Hungama 2 & she looks gorgeous, the action sequences are very well executed & abhimanyu dassani does well both in his action & dance sequences, I don't know why this movie flopped at the box office, but then again so did jersey and that was a very good movie, don't miss Nikamma!

What an outdated story! If you miss this movie you haven't missed anything, I just watched the movie on the big screen & before you know it the movie ends, what a rushed half baked screenplay, some of the songs are painful for the ears, I don't know how a movie like this in 2022 was ever even made, where is Bollywood headed with most movies flopping at the box office? This movie is certainly headed in the same direction & would appeal to a much older generation of audiences. Akshay Kumar is his usual best so is Bhumi but other than that nothing can save this movie from crashing at the box office.

Full marks to this cleverly written movie, Alia Bhatt is brilliant in yet another role after her outstanding performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi earlier this year, August is women's month in South Africa & this movie was released at the appropriate time coinciding with this month, noteworthy performance by Roshan Mathew as Zulfi & Shefali Shah as Alia's mother does an outstanding job, & it is a delight to watch her, Vijay Varma as the abusive husband does good as well in his role, it's a movie that we all need to watch as daily we are seeing abuse against women & the ending is very well thought out & ends very cleverly, the songs play out with the narrative & are appropriately fitted in with no unnecessary songs, overall full stars for this masterpiece of a movie, both Shefali Shah & Alia Bhatt look lovely in their hijab. Also worthy to note is the locality & houses that the main characters live in, it's very realistically protrait as middle class people live & is beautifully shot.

5/5 * for this brilliant masterpiece of a movie! This is a movie that has an unusual story and a realistic ending. The casting is brilliant with Dakota Johnson looking gorgeous & playing her role of Domino's to perfection while Cooper Raiff is good looking & does equally well in playing the character of a confused 20-year-old Andrew. Vanessa Burghardt is Dakota Johnson's autistic daughter, & she does her role brilliantly as well & to Leslie Mann's potrayal of a realistic mother. The movie is slow and it somewhat grabs your attention from beginning to end & it's a movie that plays at a relaxing pace, a good movie to unwind and destress, a must watch masterpiece.
