I didn't expect to see so many racist caricatures of africans in a film this recent. Bizarre accents, the portrayal of africans as simple minded, backwards and in need of rescue by American culture. It seems American Black Excellency comes at African exploitation. None consensual sex scenes, indentured sexual servants. It seems America once again seeks to colonise Africa. Even more disturbing was seeing Trevor Noah, a South African, playing a stereotypical caricature of an African, including racist accent. This movie will confuse young audiences who have grown up criticising republicans for these very views. A massive step back in time, and backwards in representation. Not to mention the shocking portrayal of working class American's as ignorant, obnoxious and oblivious to the customs of foreign nations. Extremely out of touch. Hollywood shows the class divide more here than in any other film, this is not something progressive minds will enjoy.
