Very dissapointed in this series as I felt it had potential to be something great. I liked the idea of exploring what life forms could exist in these 'alien worlds'. I also liked the idea of blending examples of life on Earth with these beautiful animations of life on alien worlds. However, I felt this was executed very poorly as some of comparisons were very random and unnecessary. The show fails to give us any back story behind these creatures and how they look the way they do, with a lot of repeated animations when portraying life on 'alien worlds' which can be very frustrating to the viewer. I felt that the animators got a little lazy so they overlapped the same visuals to fill in gaps. Also, we are given more information and coverage of life on Earth than we did on these 'alien worlds' which defeats the whole concept of this series. If there is another season, I would like to see a LOT more of the alien worlds than life on Earth and would like to hear the theoretical ideas behind them as well as a more in depth explanation of the creatures living on those alien worlds. I believe every series deserves a second chance to shine and I strongly believe by making these changes will help shape it into a great documentary moving forward.
