Like many Netflix series, it’s a bit drawn out but many aspects of current socio-political life are thoughtfully addressed

The acting was not self-aggrandisment - rather it portrayed the issue with sufficient objectivity to allow a humane and logical sequence to build up while retaining the absolute connection of the audience to the devastating consequences of greed and power.

Really engaging & not ramped up, not moralizing or pretentious- I was totally immersed in the environment for 7 hours!!!

I fully agree that the movie emphasizes these characteristics of social harmony: friendship, character, dignity and compassion - but for me, the critical aspect was the subtle but consistently engagement of ‘mutual respect’. Not simply PC but genuine feeling for each other as compassionate and selfless human beings - irrespective of race, gender, cultural association or whatever.

The bulk of the movie was quite engaging & the performances were mostly convincing - the old wife was a pain! It all fell down in the conclusion - critical points unresolved while others too ‘nice’
