Was disappointed with this movie on many levels. No character development; pretty much just dropped in the mission. Also, The tactics used by the submarines were rediculous. These subs surfaced next to the destroyer and fired their deck gun and machine guns at the destroyer. No sub skipper in their right mind would take on a destroyer like that on the surface. Subs were generally charged with sinking merchant ships as the priority and avoid destroyers. Not in this movie... Then when they get "across the pond," the movie pretty much just ends. I gave it two stars as it was good to have a movie about anti-submarine warfare to begin with no matter how unrealistic the tactics.
