At its heart (literally and figuratively), the film is about a conflict between siblings told through the medium of Lego. Though it's not as great as the first one (it's hard to beat a masterpiece), I still really enjoyed it. I'd still rank it up beside the Lego Batman movie, and above the Lego Ninjago movie.
I'm laughing so hard at all the soccer mom reviewers who think this movie has some hidden gender studies agenda. How do you all think a typical younger sister would play with her brother's legos if she got a hold of them? Ya'll are overthinking it...
