Choked is a movie one must watch if craving for a different story. All the scenes are beautifully portrayed indicating the fines lines of Anurag Kashyap direction. 👍
If we take this movie into a different direction, it tells a lot about the lives struggles. Sayami Kher as Sarita Pillai has shown us the lives of middle-class Indian women. She wakes up every morning, cooks, ready her kid for school, sends him off before leaving for her own office in teeming Mumbai where she spends her day as a emotionless toil as a bank teller before returning home to cook, serve her kid and husband Sushant, admonish the latter for being a layabout, clean up and sleep. This is her every day routine.
Then suddenly, Sarita unexpectedly comes across a stash of cash and for the first time in the film we see her face come alive. 🤔
What catches our attention is the new actor Roshan Mathew as Sushant who at first shown as a irresponsible husband who is under debt and is not steady with his job. He at first seems to be negative character but later he emerges as a man who belives in living with principles. 👍
Here, he might not have made a good husband but he is shown as a great human being. Even after hearing rumours about his wife his cool and calm behaviour towards her will sure take everyone's heart away..
There are couple of outstanding scenes like the situation faced at the time of demonization announced by Modi. At first it gives a thought that it would now become the mainstream story but Anurag Kashyap as a director has beautifully portrayed it in background while focusing on Sarita and Sushant..
A must watch film for a new story and more likes for Roshan Mathew. He is just outstanding. 🤗
