This is the most wonderful novel I've ever read. In my honest opinion this novel is better than the movie which is based on it. Based on almost accurate and ahead of his time science, Michael Crichton does a wonderful job at bringing dinosaurs back to life by not describing them as heartless monsters but rather like today's animals living to survive. Some parts of the book are a bit disturbing as some characters die brutal deaths so I won't recommend it for children but if you're old enough and looking for a good book to spend time on, this is it. It isn't boring and will keep you hooked till the end. Even though the movie is based on it, there are many parts in the book which are different so even if you watched the movie the book will be a completely new experience. The storyline is one of the best I've read, when a person recreates dinosaurs back to life, he faces the consequences and the results are a chain of events that cause all hell to break lose with many deaths but I won't spoil them. This book does an amazing job at telling the reader that as much as man tries to contain it, life breaks free, life uh... Finds a way.
