Fyi. The "chaotic" timeline of both The Goldbergs and Schooled is very intentional. Adam F. Goldberg has many times over past 7 years said they decided not to focus on accurate timelines with pop culture references. Said it would be too difficult to maintain/research/limit material. The perfect song, toy, event, etc for that weeks episode might be years in the future. (example, if show did accurate timeline, in season 2 of Goldbergs, it would be 1981/1982 and perfect song was released in 1988.) With "wonky" back and forth timeline, the best of both decades is always available every episode, every season. I really like it this way. Let go and enjoy the ride!!
