The movie will keep you engaged throughout the duration. But when compared to previous KV Anand movies this is not up to the mark. Everybody have played their roles really well. Duration could have been short by curbing few songs and scenes. When compared to previous KV Anand movies where he dealt in each theme of the movie in-depth for example in ko he dealt with press and it's influence in politics and in each movie he showed us in-depth of the theme but in this movie he didn't show the in-depth of SPG. We can see the similarities of few scenes from this movie of KV Anand's previous movies. Being a very big Surya fan, I loved his get up and the way he acted. There will be social messages in between but we won't get bored of it. On the whole definitely one time watchable movie in theatres. Missing the old Harris Jayaraj cuz BGMs were not up to the mark. My rating would be 3/5
