I have been watching this series with great interest and I am currently in Season 10. I am not a horse person, but I got to learn a lot about horses and the various sports related to horses.
However in a particular episode of Season 10, in which Aunt Evelyn comes to visit her niece Lisa Stillman, she talks in great detail about her trip to India. She also gifts Jack a "traditional Kurta". Although Jack doesn't seem very excited to receive this gift, it is Tim Fleming who refers to it as "night dress".
It was very insensitive and unthoughtful of your screenplay writers and the research team to include such a comment. I am from India and a Kurta is a beautiful attire that men wear on special and auspicious occasions including weddings. It is just like how the westerners wear a suit to all formal occasions. So to call it a "night dress" is very offending and not acceptable!!
I was not expecting this from this series, which otherwise talks a lot about respect for individual, integrity and family values!
