Excellent coming of age story, better than most out there. Soundtrack is good too.

Overacting, heavy-handed, moralistic, downright ridiculous at times and unnecessary violence against girls. And unmistakably leveraging on the Battle Royale trope and somewhat of a meta version of Confessions. But it is somehow quite watchable with an obvious but easily forgotten message at its core. Watch it if you want an alternative to the glut of Korean mini-series on Netflix (and miss Japan).

Don’t understand the negative reviews. It was great and engaging. Doona Bae is so good in this. There’s a reveal in each episode and there is an actual ending.
