The rain, the wind, the continuous drone of the foghorn, the clanking steam driven turbine, .....was enough to send me mad.....one minute he has fallen several feet off the lighthouse next minute he's pushing coal up the hill??? What the hell happened in the middle? For me it didn't build in psychological suspense it remained a taught, nails screeching down a blackboard headache all the way through. .....

Awful. Purile, annoying and inane

Just watched episode 1. Liked the plot...but the choral music in the background is VERY VERY annoying....why? why does there have to be miserable droning voices over the action? I guess we are beyond thumping heartbeats and screeking violins to ramp up the tension...but seriously funeral music?

Sorry.....found it tedious and depressing to show during lockdown....

I'm sorry....I just didn't 'get it'....for goodness sake, taking a canary into the alien pod to see if the air is breathable! This turgid, stultifying nonsense is not intelligent just patronising.
