Filmography was really good. However at times it felt there was just too much Drama to be happening to a family. Acting by all senior actors was superb but Rishi Kapoor's overacting was just unbearable as much as the underacting by the young actors. Still it was a fresh air of breath with a kind of realistic family affair which is still a novice thing in Hindi films.

Fun, not funny. Its a Drama with a comical silverlining but the subtext is very serious and even philosophical. The makers probably wanted to preach without seeming too preachy. The juxtaposition of current rhetoric in medieval setting may seem forceful but looking deeper the medieval setting seemed just a whimsical prop rather than a serious theme of the movie which is definitely a modern commentary on religion or even human tendency to strangle one's happiness by building the fallacy of misplaced priorities and ability to frame rules that would actually make our lives easy.
