Mmmm, after 30 mins my partner decided it was better to go out to get an icecream and wait in the car. No I thought, NO - I stay, this is the matrix after all! It must be just a slow build up to set the scene and soon all confusion would be explained. Like; why were the bad guys so beige, why is Neo so lame, why do we love machines now, who wrote this, why were they allowed to? Some days after the movie I still don't have the answers, but I do know I should have gone with her to get that icecream.
