I absolutely love this show and keep recommending it to all my friends and family. As already reported, MWGF is a fishing show that is not really about fishing. The chemistry and relationship between M & W is magical - and that for me is what makes this programme. It focuses on some really important life events and issues - and it does this in a most discreet, sensitive and subtle way. It is very evocative too - and reminds you of your own past and the characters in your own life who have had a bearing on you as a person. Like a warm pair of slippers and a cosy dressing gown, the programme follows a worn and familiar path with Bob doing the cooking, choosing the accommodation and knocking up lunch. Paul is his equal with his knowledge of all things fishing - he is the Morecombe to Bob's Wise. And let's not forget the amazing scenery and the fantastic soundtrack to accompany the programme. For me, it is sure delight and a weekly pleasure and I don't ever want it to end
