Hats off to this cast! The entire cast was phenomenal and the storyline was relateable and heartwarming. I laughed. I cried and not just tears but to the point where I had that tight, lump in my throat. There was sadness but there was also so much beauty in watching the relationships and the comradery of lifelong friendships. This is definitely a series that I would like to see remade with an all African American cast. This is another K-series must see!

This one was a disappointment for me. I don't know how I watched it all the way through. The acting was not great and I couldn't get into it no matter how hard I tried. When the stuntwoman cried, I rolled my eyes instead of tearing up. The secretary to the president was annoying with all that crying, whining and whimpering. I couldn't figure out who the male lead was because they were all so soft. Kim Joo-won did do an awesome job playing Gil Ra-Im. And about the tracksuits, did he buy several of the exact same wacksuit or did this filthy rich guy wear the exact same tracksuit for a few days in a row. The best thing about this series was Oska and his sense of fashion and his leading lady and her no nonsense attitude with his mom and any other foolishness. Oska's hair was also very lovely all the time! And the director at the Action School was cool but he did not look Arabic or whatever they kept calling him. All of the emotional scenes like when they arrived at the hospital and her best friend fell out or couldn't decide if she wanted to fall out or fight her way into the room to help with the surgery, were poorly acted out. It was just a let down of a series for me. Definitely not of the same quality of other series like Chocolate, Oh My Venus, Hi Bye Mama, Hyenas, etc.

I'm in love with So Ji-Subs' character! He's making me want hop a flight like a fan. I wonder if he's 6 ft in real life. Another case of great casting and a good storyline. I have fallen in love with all of the characters but Henry Lau and Sung Hoon's are two of my favorites. I cry with Shin Min-A everytime she cries happy or sad tears. Her confident frumpiness is too cute! And so is the little smack she does from her dimple. It's the perfect balance of Rom-Com and drama. Loving it! I would definitely recommend.

Some of the best casting and acting I've witnessed in a K-series. When they cried, you felt it and cried with them. A great love story from the point of view of a husband, mother, daughter, father, sister, grandfather, grandmother and best friends. It was a story of loss, love, friendship and grief that was both painful to watch and beautiful to watch at the same time. I loved all of the characters even the shaman. At first I thought the sister's character was a bit underdeveloped but the mom and dad's character made up for it. Her mother was exceptional and her best friend was kicka$$. This is a must watch!

I love, love, love this series. It's beautiful and emotional and I look forward to each week. I wouldn't be mad if Lee Jun's dad and Cha Yeongs brother would disappear from future episodes. I love the pace of the stories and how even with death the story is relayed with beauty. I only wish it wasn't two episodes at a time on two different days. I prefer the 4 episodes per week like with the weekly series A Little Thing Called First Love. I would usually loose interest in a series with this kind of wait. That's the whole sell of Netflix vs. regular TV for me. Another good one if you like Chocolate is Second 20s. Great show, great writing! And I love Dr. Kang! Great casting!
