Thank God, I watched the movie before checking out the reviews. Its weird, I found the movie compelling and relevant. I have cop friends and I know how they behave when they are not being watched. The only questionable thing I find in the movie, is the main character. There are way to few people who can go against this system. Most people with her views just simply resign and do other things. What about the performances, my God....all too diverse, from the unknown black cop, over the top detective malone, the bystander cop who just wants to provide and then there is Tyrese. Other than baby boy, this is his best performance yet. Jeez even the superhero dude looked believable as a gangster.
