Not often a remake is better than the original. I loved the original and was worried it would be ruined, but hats off and bravo to Steven Spielberg, this was brilliant. Loved that no big stars were dragged in to sing & dance badly; everyone deserved their role. The film is up to date without losing its authentisity.
