Tragic for a Rambo movie. Imagine the plot of Taken but instead of Europe it is set in Southern USA/Mexico and Liam Neeson is older, shorter, more unintelligible + sucks at the rescue part. Old Rambo feels like as you spend 85% of this movie waiting for some real action or even a sense of the gritty Rambo movies that drew us to watch this train wreck. Sadly the final 15% that is the "climax" is reminiscent of a Michael Bay film exchanging explosions and over the top looking stunts for any semblance of an actual plot; followed by a sad attempt to wrap up the film with a 1 min monotone monologue. If you want to watch a Rambo movie go watch the first Rambo. If you haven't seen the original Rambo then you won't be upset at how this movie fails to measure up but after watching you will still wish you didn't waste an hour and a half of your life on this garbage!
