Ep7:23 Extreme Measures I've really enjoyed ST in all its series and ignored it's socialist propaganda. But this episode had me rattled. Odo good, Sloan bad, therefore it doesn't matter if Sloan is forced to commit suicide and his lifeless body is available for brain abuse .....by Dr Bashir...... For the greater good of......Odo....even if the federation falls to the fascist Dominion as a consequence. Skewed logic of the Marxists. Quite upset me. Where is the logic? What is the greater good?

There seems to be a trend for spy movies with thin plots big names and CGI. They are all useless including this one.

Atmospheric, great acting, compelling and mysterious storyline (possibly written by grown ups for a change).....don't miss!

Kingsman knock off perhaps? I hope they didn't take themselves at all seriously in thinking they were making anything worthwhile.

The storyline has improved in this last series but the gains are offset by the "make up some tech that saves us" gimmics and the need for someone to cry each episode.

Potentially good story ruined by sloppy action scenes. The leads have no regard for their own personal safety, the professional killers are incompetent and when you are being chased back to your car by a man with a gun you dont wait to put your seat belt on and execute a three point turn, ha ha.

The original premise was of random locations where small but growing problems were about to get out of hand. Enter the Doctor to save the day. Truly clever and scary plots told over a number of weeks with a cliff hanger each week. When the first guy got too old the regeneration thing kicked in and a new guy got a multi year turn. Now it's almost annual face changes very quick simplistic fantasy plots full of holes and endless versions of "the message". Even a return visit by Tenant wasn't allowed to save it. I'd give it a rest for a few years, it's stale and broken.

Exciting visually and engaging actors but the action is mindless and the plot very thin. Bit of a missed opportunity.

Neesom used to make clever movies, this one isn't one of them.
