I really like Audry's voice, but the movie was a horrible depiction of Billie Holiday. I hated to see any self-resting women white or black play such a low, nasty, dirty, vision of such a classic historical black beautiful women. Even with her drug addition and her personal life. If our black children watch these new films depicting black history, what will they gain from this? How could this movie ever help strengthen them as a black man or women? This is the filth they will find. If we allow the movies to ..dirty our roots then what type of fruit do we expect in the future? This is an intentional movement. We need to wake up.
