It's fun if you're looking for a less realistic arcade style game and have money to burn. The single player is the most redeeming part of this game with tons of campaigns. One warning though the voice acting in English is terrible! Also as it's an always online game, the singleplayer can get impacted by lag.
The multiplayer (the main focus of the Devs) on the other hand is a downgrade in many key aspects:
- Miniscule army capacity. Who thought having an army composed of only 5 guys, 1 artillery piece and a single tank was a good idea?
- The time to kill is wonky and everything tends to blow up and thus not be able to recrew enemy units. Even in "realistic mode)
- Again with the recrewing of your own artillery or mgs you cannot man the guns if you are at your unit cap even with spare infantry already on the field. The Devs mention balance reason for that change and tell us we can still recrew enemy vehicles/arty even at cap limit. Problem is as I just said above everything just blows up.
But enough ranting on my end. The game is mediocre and for me a tremendous disappointment. I would highly recommend getting Gates of Hell Ostfront or Men of War Assault Squad 2 they are cheaper and offer a way more realistic and fun game.
5/10 game mostly for the single player.
