I am still trying to work out what I saw and how I feel about it; I think a second viewing is necessary. The only word that describes what I saw is bewilderment. Did I enjoy it? Not really. Did I understand it? Hell no. Does one depend on the other? I think so..... But I think my real problem is that it lost me in the first 10 minutes; unless the little girl was repeatedly told that the next time she is out with her parents, she should walk off and go far far away. Really, what child does that? Yes, they wander off or get jostled about. She marched down the boardwalk, down some stairs, across a beach and into a dark, deserted building. Kids don't do that and my eyebrows never left my hairline after that!
