I would never buy this movie, or seriously defend it, or care about it after today or even watch it again, but it deserves a higher rating. My ratings would be 3 versus all general video entertainment, 4 against other wide release movies, and respecting the full circumstances, everyone involved in this movie should walk away feeling they made a 5. Only seven million to make this movie is miraculous. These comments look like a war between Blumhouse and Hollywood bots. Hollywood cannot allow a mean and dirty film company to gain the perception of anything above trash, it would cut into their professional-class grift on the market. 8% critic reviews are suspicious for this reason. How is it possible I can only recall a handful of big-budget movies that respected my knowledge and intelligence, but this $7M Blumhouse joint manages to do it? How, media elites?
