This film is about love stories. And about abuse. Incredible acting fm all the performers. A movie I'll watch again 5 yrs fm now. Hve tissues ready if you plan on watching this.

Amazing. I have one complaint, the film could have been 60mins longer. I'll be thinking on this movie for months to come. This is a harbinger if ever there was one.

Just finished (12.Oct'24) this historical masterpiece. My ex bought the book & loaned it to me 3 weeks ago. I loved it for many reasons mainly because its authentic. The author tells the Boer story factually and one feels his love for the Boer culture. I got upset at what the British did & wanted to do to the Afrikaners but I reminded myself it was wartime. There are graphic stories of what transpired between the black nations & the Boers which adds to the drama of the historical events. For lovers of history or for people curious about the true nature of the early days of South Africa, I highly recommend this book. I read the printed book in Afrikaans. There's an English version too.

3 different films in one. All nonsense. Movies must come with a trigger warning if they are ONLY pg 16 but contain lesbian & gay scenes. Over & above that the off key piano music was horrible & the storylines are crap! 1 star because I loved the car.

The movie description says "a new chapter in the long-running simian saga". The first & biggest lie. This film is so far apart & dissimilar fm any of its predecessors. What a superior piece of absolute nonsense. All the voice overs, acting (humans & apes), script, directing goes fm bad to worse to worst. 2 stars for the special effects/make up. Super disappointing. 2+hrs of my life wasted. Thank G-d for the ff button. Definitely a kids movie which they will love.

If you are looking for a movie that makes John Wick look like a fairy tale, here it is. I did not enjoy this movie. The 117 minutes constant background music & noises & fights & gore was all too much for me. The film lacks substance which is not catered to by brief cuts & flashbacks. The characters were all portrayed very well. But like I said my head was reeling & was left needing...
