Those were hours of my life I could not get back, I am writing this so you don't waste your time.
Cons:
ACTING- This was the worst of all the show's atrocities. Unbelievably cringe worthy, untalented (Ouch!!!). No one can act from this group, LITERALLY NO ONE...Paris Hilton was a no-brainer better, it was that bad. It was a pain in the bottom and not the good kind.
CASTING - Someone has to be fired my gosssshhh! Tavi Gevinson was like a bottom queen speaking with her face pressed down on a pillow... there must be something in her mouth when she talks it's distractingly muffled and annoying. You would have the protagonist and the villain but in this casting - all were just severe antagonists opposing no one.
PLOT - all these brats were just instagram celebrity wannabees trying so hard to make a point of nothing with social media hysteria of colorlessness and absolute void!!! ....Covering up this insipidity with occasional wardrobe and set up production points.
ORIGINAL vs. REBOOT - The original cast have layers of interesting personalities and psycho-dynamics, you would actually root for someone... this reboot was a 2 ingredient recipe: plain red liquid sauce on saltless-pasta boiled blandness. Somewhere in an L.A. hotel 2 chairs were thrown off of the glass windows, it's where Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were checked in.

2 words to describe the show:
AWFUL and BRUTAL. And I feel sorry because I really wanted to like this remake, I was a fan of the original show...but this 2021 installment was really a frustration. I can still be hopeful for the dead but this? This has no life at all to begin with.
