It feels like "Friends: Reunion" : trying to bring old characters to play on the feelings of those who loved the Matrix 1,2,3. The plot is weak, even the action scenes are not gripping. I stopped the movie often to get some water or stretch; I wasn't griped by it. Neo looked very tired even in the scenes with Trinity. He wasn't invested, there is no chemistry between them. Even bringing the scenes from the first three movies did not help to make this one good. Sometimes you really have to leave the past in the past. You cannot re-create the inspiration of the previous parts and they progressively slide down in quality from Matrix 1 to 4. On the bright side I liked Bug's character, she was believable. That and some good quotes: "It's easy to forget how much noise the Matrix pumps into your head until you unplug."

The movie drew me in, touched me and was a delight. It is a great pleasure to watch things done well and this movie was one of them. Despite its serious topic it is not grim and there is no sense of despair. It left a clear feeling, it enriched me and left me better than I was before watching it. I think this is the main characteristic of a good book or a movie is that it leaves you with something to ponder, to chew on, to think about laying in the darkness with your hands under your head on a pillow. Stitches was one of those movies. The actors' play especially Snežana Bogdanović as Ana was superb, so vivid and realistic that I forgot I was watching a movie. It would look good comparing it with even with the most highly praised Hollywood films.
