I just read the transcript of our govenor, Kate Brown, interview with Margaret Brennan You may have not noticed but many of us in Oregon are evacuated, worried about whether our houses are going to burn to the ground, not to mention the smoke that is giving residents blood-shot eyes, sneezing, burning noses and coughs. We are concerned about dear friends who have already lost their homes and live stock. You asked the most ridiculous question about how this will "affect voting in the upcoming election"  Really?  You ever heard of empathy? Even Govenor Brown was clearly not expecting the question.  Face the Nation has fallen several notches for me. I am so disappointed.  Nice pursuing the narrative over clearly suffering people.  I have to admit not once over the last week have I thought about the election which is more than six weeks away! I am just trying to survive.  JERKS
