Having lived through those times it's not a bad miniseries, has aged pretty well. For someone not really interested in history, it's not all bad. Lord knows if it was made now they'd have made a real hash out of it. Worth the time.

With over 1k hrs I actually like it better now than when I first played. The learning curve is not bad, the steam forum is very helpful and this game doesn't seem to attract too many trolls. The graphics are nice, combat is a bit janky but that's not why folks would choose this game. This is a village builder, not city, no castles, and well researched the time. If it fits your playstyle is a solid 4.5/5 w/ good replayability.

15 hours in. Runs smooth, 4070, 1440. Couldn't care less about on line only tho they are now working on offline option. It is EA. EA, EA. Not perfect, has some iffy bits. Crafting is very complex, steep learning curve but hopefully will get some simplification. Too many mats at ea level and type so will need craft from chests. 3500 hrs in Valheim w hundreds of chests no problem. This game, day 2 and its just too damned fussy. FF14 style fussy. Do I really need a dozen craft benches? But hey, EA. Interesting game, worth the ride for me. Ymmv.
