Okay, where do I start? This series is absolutely phenomenal! I am extremely hard to impress for the most part but this animation series has completely blown me away, I am glad I was wrong about my first impression. I only just finished today and I am beyond sad I have fully completed the series but yet so glad that I got to experience it. The plot was intricate and interesting, the characters are all so unique and well thought out. Just amazing! As a lesbian it's just nice to see lgbtq+ recognised in something, the show is about love, friendship and everyone looking out for each other TOGETHER. Doesn't matter their skin colour or sexuality, which shouldn't ever matter like how many people in tv and in the world still make it seem like it has to be straight and white when that is beyond far from what it should be like. The representation just warms my heart, to feel free watching an animation series is insane to say but I was and felt I could actually relate to a lot of the characters struggles, mainly Catra's. I'm now an absolute huge fan and will be sure to rewatch here and there. Favourite character(s); Honestly? this is hard for me to say as I really truly did love pretty much every single character so much which is so RARE for me, but I think Catra is the tiniest bit more as I hella crushed on her throughout lol You know a show is good when you pretty much can't even pick a favourite character and has a plot that is really good, the fact it can have a similar plot throughout but found ways to branch out and add more to it without completely going in a different direction is hard to do effectively. I would say more but this is already long enough, Give it a watch please! p.s. I've never been a fan of 'princesses' but these guys are badass <3
