Despite having a bit tough time catching up the whole plot of the movie for not knowing the actual historical events, Lincoln's biography and his demise, I enjoyed the movie for the humanitarian message that it portrayed and how the human heart can be turned for what is right and equal. Though I would not recommend this to anyone but it is a must-watch movie for people who enjoy slow-paced drama. The acting was top-notch by Daniel Day-Lewis and the direction, as well as music, was outstanding. This movie actually inclined me to read about Lincoln's life, his accomplishment, and the Americal Civil War.
