I wish Hallmark would make more movies like this again! It is so relatable and real. They don't have everyone dressed up (even the "poor" people) in perfect clothes, with perfect hair and perfect houses! You could truly feel Martha's (Kristy Swanson) pain it felt real and those kids WOW! Hallmark 2 things 1. Why didn't you play this movie this year instead of playing the same movies over and OVER and 2. You need to go back to your roots with movies like these and A Season For Miracles and National Tree.

This movie hit sooooo close to home for me. Anyone who has been affected by addiction or loved an addict knows the pain that comes with loving that person and I have seen quite a few movies about this subject and none have felt more real to me then this one! I felt every bit of pain that Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's characters were feeling as well as the very few happy times they had in the movie. This didn't just feel like I was watching a Hollywood movie I felt like I was actually watching a home movie of a real couple. Every single detail no matter how small in this movie (in my opinion)was absolute realistic and perfection. I have seen this movie many times and still cry in the end when they show Ally singing and then it cuts to Jackson singing that same song, it just gets to me deep down inside. Thank you to all who were involved in the making of this beautiful story.

I was OBSESSED with the show and sooo upset when it abruptly ended after only 3 short seasons! I would check online every so often through the years looking for a glimmer of hope that HBO would see what a HUGE mistake they did in letting this AMAZING series end and that it was going to be brought back! Then FINALLY one day I checked online yet again and there it was! The announcement that they were bringing it back! Just a movie not a series but I was happy to get what I could get! So finally May 31st came and it was the time I had been waiting for! But much to my dismay it wasn't what I thought it would be. Tell me when did Marshall Bullock all of the sudden have a Southern Twang when he speaks? Sorry that was just a random thought/question. I just felt like they were trying to hard to tie up all of the lose ends, to many story lines were packed into a not even 2 hour movie. As someone else said on these reviews it should have at least been a mini-series that way they could have stretched out the story lines more so it didn't feel so rushed. I just feel like I still uave unanswered questions still. Don't get me wrong like I said I was just happy to get what I got and when I heard that theme song it brought me back to the excitement I used to get on Sunday Nights when I would anxiously wait to see what was going to happen next in Deadwood that week! To David Milch (not that he probably is going to read this lol) I do want to say thank you though for bringing us back a little nostalgia and letting us peak in on the lives of the great people of Deadwood.

I get it, I get it, I get it! It was ended the way it was because David Chase is going to bring the series back and THEN we will see how Tony’s crew was brought together. Hahaha good one David Chase and HBO, you almost got me on that one! Well if it wasn’t a joke on us that they are coming back with the series, then the joke IS on us that we were going to get the answers to how Tony grew up and then became the boss and how his crew was assembled. I was excited in the beginning of the show and all the little wrap ups to things mentioned in the show but then the bring in characters that didn’t belong there and they barely had Michael Gandolfini in the movie. I thought he would have been in way more the way it was hyped up. Then for the cherry on the cake they left us hanging in the end with even more questions then we had before!! Listen it wasn’t the worse prequel I have ever seen but it certainly wasn’t the best.
