This movie was such a letdown, and I would proceed to call it bad. It is not because it had so much hype, but rather, it was a movie hat lacked some of the key principles to being a entertaining and grasping movie. The character development was heavily lacking in most cases, with the main focus being iron man's struggle between staying to his new life of restoring the earth. It was quite predictable after the point where they plan out what to do, and there was no change. The fight scene was commendable though, as the return of doctor strange and his prophecies gave us some hope, however, the arrival of all the other characters, although exciting, was very sudden, and did not give us enough time to reconnect with such characters. For example, the reintroduction of Scott Lang's love interest was a mere few seconds and a smile, surrounded by fast-pace fighting. There was excessive use of deux ex machina, with the existence of the contradictory nature of time travel and captain marvel merely serving as plot convenience. However, they did adequately resolve the issue, which is an issue in itself, as it was adequate, not unexpected or astounding, keeping us captivated. It was in a sense, formulaic, and expected, with a lack of emotional value, contrasting with its former, Infinity war, that developed a deep connection with each of the characters and made us sentimentally invested into each persona and their struggles. Although the plot within endgame had greater depth, the former movie seemed to engage with the audience to a greater extent. And I believe that much of that is to its ability for characters to empathise with the audience.
