After I watched this, I went home and watched SPECTRE, which, while not a fantastic film, would've been a better way to end the Daniel Craig Bond series.
Why the tremendous need for all Hollywood stories to be wrapped up in a neat little bow? Why script ALL the main characters in such off-character ways? Why the desperate need to celebrate one actor's farewell role as Bond so self-consciously? Seems like the producers, realizing this was Craig's finale, decided to write off everything and everyone in fairly unimaginative ways.
This was the first Bond film that didn't really feel like a Bond film. I felt like I watched a sad ending to an unhappy man's depressing life.
