Well filmed and not filled with silly characters. One big issue, The story goes nowhere. Started in a direction and established the main relationships but fizzled by not accomplishing anything the following episodes. I recall an interview with George Lucas mentioning not including scenes that did not progress the story. This is what happens when the wrong people get in control of a production.
