I am very disappointed with ABC's decision to suspended Whoopie. Don't you people have an amendment that encourages free speech? She spoke respectfully and supported her point of view with clear facts. Her opinion - her point of view, on The View (ironic) - did not come from a place of hate but from her life's experiences and realities. I understand why those who suffered directly or indirectly from the holocaust feel strongly that their point of view is the "right" view - and it may well be. It is a horrible, inhumane cruel attempt at genocide that must never be forgotten. Listen to all of Whoopie's comments with a calm and clear mind and reconsider the decision to suspend her. Punishment for a different way of looking at history will not change anything. Open, calm discussion may.
