Right up my street. Political drama/tongue in cheek series that pulls off seriousness and humour in an intelligent way. It's obviously fantasy, but has a certain amount grounded in reality. A really good watch, I hope there's more. A full 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After finishing series 2, I gotta admit that the above review is not quite accurate; The Diplomat is brilliant, potentially the most I've ever enjoyed TV

A little painful to watch as it's very unrealistic. The characters are not in the slightest bit convincing, and there's no character build; they are all pretty empty. It's a film for people that like poor acting, and tripe like EastEnders. Obviously big budget as the action scenes and the gore are pretty good. I'm on episode 3 and I'm really trying to enjoy it as I like the genre; but I'm not sure that I can watch much more ..if any.

Agree with others on here. The politically correct undertones spoil the series, they are in almost every scene. Although, to be honest, there's not much substance to be spoiled. Disappointing. Only tried it because of Benedict

Utter garbage. I managed an hour and a half whilst waiting for it to improve, then looked at the reviews. It doesn't get better. I can't quite believe how bad it is. It doesn't deserve any stars

What did I just watch? More to the point: Why did I just watch? It makes me think that I could make a sci-fi film in my back garden using a 10 year old Nokia camera phone, with my weird neighbour and his mates

Garbage. Very hard to watch. If it's meant to be real, make it believable. So many bits that were just so frustratingly poor. Severely disappointed. I agree with another guy that gave it 1 star, it really does feel like it's written by a 12 year old.

Just appaling. Skipped through a lot of it. Good idea for a story but most School kids could've come up with a better script
