Daybreak has so much going for it, but character development and storyline fluidity are not its strong points.The acting is quite good and the cinematography at some points is really something. The only problem I have is that the characters make no sense. Plot twists can be interesting and gripping but this show hits none of these (the ending). For a someone to make a decision there has to be a build up. I'm sure the writers are talented, but this genre may not be their strong point, I just hope that season 2 can get these things right, then this show could really tick all the boxes.
