As long as you go to this movie with no expectation for Hollywood to pay respect to middle eastern culture; it's good. The movie was better than the trailer portrayed. Will Smith is actually great as the Genie. The songs were enjoyable and the imagery gorgeous. They left out the overly and strangely sexual content of the first movie (thank goodness). Even the monkey and carpet were well done. Cherry picking bits of various Middle Eastern, Indian, and North African culture to fit the scheme seemed like a missed opportunity for Disney to right the wrong done back in the 90's.
