I loved watching Vampire Academy and would love to see all the books made into a movie. I'm a huge fan of Danila who played Demetri. As always the when reading a book you tend to build characters up in your head. You have a picture in your head about what each character looks like Then when you watch the movie the characters are nothing like you pictured in your head. I had pictured Dimitri as tall, muscular (but not too much) slim, long dark hair. I really wasn't sure about the Dimitri I was seeing onscreen totally different to what I had imagined, but the more I watched this movie the more Danila became Demetri. I loved all the characters maybe not straight away, but once I got my characters I had made up out of my head it all worked. I have lost count with how many times I have watched Vampire Academy. The hard part about watching the movies is that we have all read the books and there is so much in a book that you can let your imagination run away with it. Then you watch the movie and so much is left out that you think but this happened and that happened etc etc. When it all boils down everybody has different judgements,. Whether it is about the book or the movie.Everyone has their own opinion no one is right and no one is wrong. I'm not a young woman I am 61yrs of age and loved Vampire Academy. Well done everyone!
