Truly Marvellous. The title itself describes the movie: 'soulful'.

Jagga Jasoos in itself is a masterpiece and quite misinterpreted with the unfortunate audiences that are usually exposed to the masala we call bollywood. Its picturesque in every location and the impeccable vision of Basu really compliments the acting by the ensemble cast. Every star shone the brightest and the background score was music to my ears. This film deserves a hollywood release where it would be accepted by a changing audience.

A lovely experiment in satire, Waititi pulls of the Hitler impression flawlessly while opening the eyes of the world from the point of view of a child. A lovely coming of age comedy, jojo rabbit strikes the right note in connecting with its audience but does push it too far on the plot at times.

A very anticlimactic film, Bhoot simply relies on the many jump scares within itself. The shooting style is same of many horror films that have been shot between the 70s and 2000s. The film did however, have a lot of unrequired deaths and it did mostly rely upon the dark setting. The film is a very vague and lazy attempt in the world of horror, but compared to Bollywood horror classics like raaz, Bhoot takes one step further.
