A very well-researched account of the historical narrative of Jesus's existence, complete with a compilation of credible sources towards the end that ensures the veracity of his claims. It's also beautifully structured to get across the larger message that Aslan is trying to convey by his efforts. I should point out that there seems to be an ideological tilt towards Marxist leanings in his writing and description to get at certain core points that he wants to establish as fundamental which could be due to his academic background but it's something that could be overlooked as it isn't evident in the general overtone of the text. I feel books are like drugs, No less, which is why I prescribe em' like a doctor would do w his dosage. I recommend you read it early in the day at Church compounds in multiple shifts for maximum effect.

The author is a genius. It requires extreme understanding of the subject at hand to explain something in such simple terms without complicating it. So I'd not have to take whatever it is that he has said with a grain of salt because there's no reason to be skeptical as he has ensured that he made himself absolutely clear w the message that he was trying to deliver to us.
